The Ethereal Learning Foundation (ELF) is a community group established in January 2021. The overall aim and ethos are to provide engaging, relevant, and transformative community support to increase awareness of healthy living environments and behaviours.
Our culturally diverse team works with communities, families, and young people to action change.
Our Facilitators
“Meeting them where they are”
The facilitation team at The Ethereal Learning Foundation have 40 years collective experience in working with young people with a range of needs. Our team includes qualified teachers with extensive experience in working with young people with SEND and teaching experience across the Primary and Secondary age range.
They have supported young people with mental and emotional wellbeing in various ways, one to one coaching, mentoring, community workshops, and bespoke programmes of support targeting anxiety and low self-esteem.

The SELF Approach™
The SELF Approach™, written by one of the founders Deb Haddon, was developed with the unique individual in mind. The framework is an exploration of self which provides a natural opportunity to explore, discover and develop our own learning journey through a project-based approach.

The SELF Approach™ was developed to encompass physical, mental, and emotional health and an awareness of how these ‘work’ together and how the balance of all three benefits us as individuals.
The mission is to educate and empower young people providing them with the knowledge and understanding of what can impact their health, wellbeing and learning on every level.
